
2009 sailing season Silver
Star is available for the 2009 Sailing Season for bareboat charter
on the Chesapeake Bay from late April through November 2009
Also, new this year is Silver Star's location in Baltimore's famous
Inner Harbor area at the
Baltimore Marine
Center, a wonderful top of the line marine in the heart of
the harbor. Here you will find an outstanding
marina location to relax and enjoy easy access to all of Baltimore's
attractions. The Inner Harbor also offers a central
point to access many attractive sailing destinations on the
Chesapeake Bay such as the Magothy River, Rock Hall, Annapolis, St.
Michaels, the Chester River, Middle River, Worton Creek, Still Pond
and Fairlee Creek to name a few.
While Silver Star has excellent sailing
characteristics, she also has
two 29 HP fuel efficient Yanmar diesels with less than 200 hours for reliable cruising performance
and maneuverability.
She also has an 11 foot Caribe RIB Dinghy with a 15 HP (4 stroke) Honda
Outboard for getting around your cruising destination fast and in style.
She has 2 sea kayaks, a 9ft. water trampoline and fishing gear to
support aquatic activities while at anchor. Our rates,
inclusive of everything you need, is an attractive $3100 per week and $2300
per weekend and we can accommodate most any special arrangements you

During the 2009 sailing season, we will continue to offer daily or multi-day cruises for
folks not familiar with sailing catamarans or would like to just go
out for a sail on the Chesapeake Bay. We will also continue to
offer
non-certification catamaran education programs for those interested
in learning about navigation, catamaran systems, sail trim,
anchoring, and any other areas. The course can be tailored to your
individual requirements.
Week Long "Bareboat Adventure"
...Explore the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
From Baltimore, head north to Georgetown Yacht Basin on the
Sassafras River and experience one of the most scenic rivers on the
Bay, while there visit
Sailing Associates
or Georgetown.
From Baltimore, head east and you'll hit Rock Hall on the other side
of the Bay and visit
Sailing
Emporium, one of the most quaint marinas on the Chesapeake Bay
right across from
Waterman's Crab House where you can enjoy fresh local crabs.
Finally from Baltimore, head south to visit destinations such as
Annapolis,
St. Michaels
and
Oxford.
Each location is within easy reach while sailing aboard our 38' performance - oriented Catana C381 catamaran.

Located right in the Inner Harbour, Baltimore Marine Center is
a tranquil marina
with excellent facilities and a wonderful place to catch a nice
dinner at several restaurants within walking distance.
If you want to get an early start you can sail east to
Fairlee Creek to
drop an anchor and continue your trip south to enjoy crabs at Rock
Hall or a overnight visit to Annapolis, Maryland. From
Baltimore, you have access to quite can accomplish alot over the
weekend.

Baltimore's
Inner Harbor has many attractions to enjoy including
National Aquarium in Baltimore,
USS
Torsk submarine and the home of the
Baltimore Orioles.

Catana 381 - Unique to the Catana 381 is the single helm
station located aft on the centerline and raised for excellent
360-degree visibility. The galley and navigation station are
on the same level as the saloon. Silver Star's layout include the
owner's version with one hull devoted to the owner's suite.
